Why blended yield matters

When you hold multiple dividend ETFs, each with a different yield and expense ratio, the income your portfolio actually generates depends on how much you have in each. A blended yield — weighted by your dollar amounts — gives a more accurate picture than looking at any single ETF in isolation. This tool does that math for you.

How to use this calculator

Choose a ticker from the dropdown, enter the amount invested, and add as many positions as you like. The calculator shows your total annual and monthly dividend estimate, the weighted average yield, and the weighted average expense ratio across your whole portfolio. Use it alongside the rebalancing tool to plan both your allocation and your expected income at the same time.
